Shadowrocket
App Store Purchase and Installation Guide
- Developer: Shadow Launch Technology Limited
- App ID: 932747118
- $2.99 one-time purchase · US storefront reference
- For iPhone and iPad
Check the storefront and account, then verify the app’s identity. Shadowrocket is a paid client available only on the App Store. Refer to the listing for the current price, compatibility, and purchase availability.
Buying the app does not include a service subscription. This page covers purchasing and installation; you’ll need to use your own existing subscription or server details for setup.
STORE / ACCOUNT
Storefront Region and Your Apple Account
Shadowrocket isn’t available on the mainland China App Store. If you can’t find Shadowrocket, check the country or region linked to your Apple Account instead of repeatedly changing your search terms. The App Store’s app listings and billing currency depend mainly on the storefront region for the account used with Media & Purchases. Your device’s location, system language, and App Store region are separate settings.
The button on this page links to Shadowrocket’s US App Store listing. The us in the URL identifies the storefront; it does not automatically switch your account to the US region. Being able to view the app details on the web does not mean your current account can purchase it. After opening the listing in the App Store, check the availability and payment information shown there.
How to Check Your Country or Region
- Open Settings on your device and tap your Apple Account at the top.
- Tap Media & Purchases, then View Account. Complete any verification requested by the system.
- Check Country/Region. To change it, tap Change Country or Region and review the requirements listed by the system first.
Depending on your system version, the account may be labeled Apple Account, and menu wording may vary slightly. Make sure you check the account used for App Store purchases, not just the account shown at the top of Settings. If separate accounts are used for iCloud and Media & Purchases, the purchase history is tied to the Media & Purchases account that was charged.
Changing your region may affect your balance, active subscriptions, Family Sharing group, payment method, and billing details. Follow the system prompts to resolve any outstanding requirements and provide your own valid information. This page points to Apple’s settings but cannot guarantee a region change will succeed. Don’t enter information that doesn’t match your circumstances just to complete a purchase. Review how a region change may affect other purchases before confirming.
VERIFY / THREE CHECKS
How to Verify Shadowrocket in the App Store
Before purchasing, check the developer name, official icon, and app ID together. Search results may show apps with similar names or artwork, so don’t rely on the name or colors alone. Open the product page and verify each detail.
Shadowrocket
Shadow Launch Technology Limited
932747118
Verify Each Detail on the Product Page
- Developer: Check the developer or provider information on the listing. The name should be Shadow Launch Technology Limited. Don’t rely on search ad descriptions instead of the product page.
- Official icon: Compare the listing with the official icon shown on this site: a blue-purple outlined rocket on a white background. The icon is only one part of the check; don’t use it on its own without verifying the developer and app ID.
- App ID: Check the end of the product page URL for
id932747118. The app ID is932747118; storefront region text may change, but this identifier stays the same.
All three details should match. If any one doesn’t, stop before paying and return to the product page linked on this site to verify it. Search ranking, keywords in the description, and similar-looking screenshots are not substitutes for these checks. Price and system compatibility can change, so review those details on the listing before purchasing.
The two images alongside this text are official English-language interface screenshots uploaded by the developer to the App Store. They help identify where to find Home and Add Server; they are not interface mockups made for this site. The display language, layout, and settings may vary with your device and app. Verify the app using the three App Store details above.
In Home, Not Connected indicates that the app was not connected when the screenshot was taken. Config under Global Routing means traffic is handled according to the configuration. Add Server is where you enter your existing server details. These are app controls; purchasing Shadowrocket does not automatically provide a usable server. Don’t copy the example details shown in the screenshots as your own configuration.
DEVICE / iPhone
Install and Open Shadowrocket on iPhone
On iPhone, purchase Shadowrocket from its App Store listing and wait for installation to finish. Refer to the listing for system requirements. Before purchasing, expand the compatibility section and check that your device and system meet the current requirements. Don’t assume compatibility based on whether the app works on another device.
Before paying, check the final amount, currency, and account. If installation stalls, check your network connection, available storage, and whether the App Store is waiting for verification. If the store displays an account or payment issue, address that first. Don’t confirm payment repeatedly to test whether installation has resumed; if you’ve already made a purchase, check your purchase history.
Get Ready to Configure the App
After opening Shadowrocket, check the status in Home, then add a server or import a subscription using your own details. When entering details manually through Add Server, make sure fields such as Type, Host, and Port match your server information; don’t guess based on the field names. After importing, select the entry you want to use. Installing the app and connecting successfully are separate steps.
The first time you connect, the system may ask permission to add a VPN configuration. This system authorization lets the client manage the network connection according to your selected settings; it is not another purchase step. Confirm that the request comes from Shadowrocket, then follow the system prompts. You may need to enter your device passcode or use biometric authentication.
If you canceled the authorization, try connecting again in the app and check the system prompt. If you still can’t connect, review existing VPN configurations, device management restrictions, and the current system message. Don’t delete configurations if you’re unsure what they’re for. Authorization only allows the system to create a connection; you still need to check that your server works and that Global Routing is set correctly.
For the full steps to import a subscription, choose Config / Proxy / Direct, and verify a connection, see the Shadowrocket Setup Guide. This page focuses on purchasing and installation so you can troubleshoot App Store account issues separately from connection setup.
DEVICE / iPad
Install on iPad and Redownload with the Same Account
Shadowrocket supports iPhone and iPad. After purchasing it once with your Apple ID, you can redownload it on another compatible device. Make sure the original purchase account is signed in under Media & Purchases on your iPad, then find the app in the App Store’s purchased items. The account used for purchases may differ from the one used for iCloud.
Refer to the App Store listing for iPad system requirements. Check the compatibility section before installing, then configure the app for your needs. In landscape or on a larger screen, lists, details, and navigation may be arranged differently. Use English interface labels such as Home, Config, Data, and Settings to find features; buttons don’t have to appear in the same places as in iPhone screenshots.
Purchases and Configuration Migration Are Separate
A past purchase lets you redownload the app; it doesn’t guarantee that your iPhone’s server list, subscriptions, configuration files, and connection state will automatically appear on your iPad. When you first open the app on iPad, check that your existing content is there. If anything is missing, import your own subscription or server details, then review the active configuration and Global Routing.
You may also need to authorize network connections separately on each device. Allowing Shadowrocket to add a VPN configuration on iPhone doesn’t authorize it on iPad. If your iPad is managed for work or school, check whether device management settings restrict network configurations. Follow your organization’s requirements if restrictions apply.
App Store Compatibility for Other Apple Devices
The compatibility section of the same App Store listing includes Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision. Refer to the listing for device compatibility, system requirements, and whether the purchase is universal. The same product page is the place to get the app. The step-by-step installation and first-connection instructions on this page focus on iPhone and iPad; don’t assume the interface steps are the same on other devices.
PURCHASE / RESTORE
New Device or Reinstall: Restore from Purchases
When moving to a new device or reinstalling, first find your original purchase, then restore your own connection settings. Redownloading from purchased items with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase typically won’t require another payment. The app purchase is linked to your App Store account; subscriptions, server details, and configuration files are separate and can’t replace one another.
- On the new device, check that Media & Purchases is signed in with the account used for the original purchase.
- Open the App Store, go to your account page, and tap Purchased. Depending on your system version, the option may appear as Apps or My Apps.
- Find Shadowrocket in the list. Check the developer and icon, then tap the cloud download button.
- After installation, open the app and check your existing configuration. If anything is missing, import your own subscription or server details, then complete system authorization and verify the connection.
If You See a Price Again, Don’t Pay Right Away
If the product page still shows a price, first check whether you’re using a different Media & Purchases account and review the original account’s purchase history. You can also check whether the app is hidden and whether it’s available in your current region. A price shown on the App Store button doesn’t prove that the original purchase is missing. Check your purchase history first to avoid mistaking an account mismatch for a need to buy the app again.
If the purchase is confirmed but you still can’t redownload the app, follow the App Store account prompts and have your purchase record ready. Whether a family member can get the app through Family Sharing depends on app support, family settings, and App Store rules; refer to the listing. Family Sharing and restoring a purchase with the same account are not the same process.
After restoring, start with a simple check: verify one existing server entry, confirm the active configuration, and test the connection. If a subscription update fails or the connection has issues, note the exact message and see the Troubleshooting Manual. Rebuying the app won’t fix a configuration problem.
PRICE / ONE-TIME
Price and What the One-Time Purchase Covers
Shadowrocket is a commercial app with a one-time purchase; there’s no monthly app fee. The US storefront reference price is $2.99, while other storefronts show local currency. Check the App Store listing for the actual price, tax details, and payment terms before confirming. The price here is a guide to the purchase model, not a substitute for checking the amount at checkout.
The one-time purchase covers the app and adds it to your App Store account’s purchase history. You can restore it on eligible devices by following the restore-purchase steps. App updates are also delivered through the App Store. Use automatic updates or check manually in your device’s App Store settings; refer to the listing for update details.
So if Home doesn’t show a server you can use after purchase, that doesn’t mean the purchase failed. Import your own details, then check that you selected the right entry and routing mode. Check your subscription, server connectivity, and app purchase separately to identify what needs attention.
If something goes wrong after purchase, identify which step failed: inability to pay in the App Store is an account or payment issue; inability to install is a store or device issue; connection problems after installation require checking authorization, configuration, and your existing server. Keep the text of the system message and follow the relevant section. This is more effective than reinstalling repeatedly or changing several settings at once.
Before purchasing, make one final check of the developer, official icon, app ID, account, and total price. When everything is confirmed, use the App Store button at the top of this page to open the listing. After installation, continue to the setup guide. There’s no need to troubleshoot purchases and test network connections at the same time.
FAQ / PURCHASE
Shadowrocket Download and Purchase FAQs
Why can’t I find Shadowrocket in the App Store?
Shadowrocket isn’t available on the mainland China App Store. App Store content depends on the country or region of your Apple Account. Check the region for Media & Purchases, then review the product page. The “us” in the page URL does not change your account region.
The product page opens, but the app won’t download. What should I check?
Read the App Store message first, then check your account region, payment status, device compatibility, available storage, and network connection. Refer to the App Store listing for system requirements. Follow the store’s account prompts for purchase issues; you don’t need to import a subscription before installation.
Do I have to pay again to reinstall Shadowrocket or move it to a new device?
Sign in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase, then download Shadowrocket again from your App Store account’s purchased items. You typically won’t be charged again. If a price appears, check the Media & Purchases account and purchase history. After reinstalling, check and import your own subscription or server details.
Can I install Shadowrocket on my iPad after purchasing it?
Shadowrocket supports iPhone and iPad. After purchasing with your Apple ID, you can redownload it on a compatible iPad. Refer to the App Store listing for system requirements. Layouts may differ in landscape or on larger screens; use English interface labels such as Home, Config, and Settings to find features.
Can I install Shadowrocket on Mac, Apple TV, or Apple Vision?
The compatibility section of the same App Store listing includes Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision. Refer to the App Store listing for system requirements, device compatibility, and whether the purchase is universal. The listing remains the place to get the app.
The interface is in English. Where should I start after installation?
Check the current status in Home, then add your own server details through Add Server or import an existing subscription as described in the guide. Use Config to manage configuration files and Global Routing to choose Config, Proxy, or Direct. This manual keeps interface labels in English so you can match them on screen.
